Tied Up in Paris

Well our clever blog friend Keith, from A Taste of Garlic, will have a field day with this post title! Actually, I've spent the better part of the last few days creating some new Paris calendars for 2011. I now have a color one for sale on Zazzle ( see the widget on the sidebar), but decided I'd try Red Bubble's calendar as well. There, I'm designing Paris en Noir et Blanc. I found some BW images I've not shared with you, so today we go back to the Bois de Boulogne. Nice memories of a Sunday afternoon spent wandering around the beautiful little lake last year. Enjoy.

  1. I have to admit to being excited, just for a second, with visions of lingerie clad bondage victims (possibly nuns - definitely in the back of a 2CV!)

But, in a strange way, I'm glad I was wrong - lovely photo!

    All the best

    Keith

  2. So let me guess ~ you were tossing up between this title and "Chained Up in Paris"?

    A classically beautiful scene, V!

  4. Now Keith, I think our Shell might have hit on a better title! Nuns in the back of 2CV's will be in the list of must finds for the next trip!

    M,
    We all feel the need!

    Rob,
    Thank you!

    Shell,
    Don't blush!

  5. Okay, maybe I'll just take the high road here and simply say what a beautiful image! :~} I managed to live in Paris for several years without ever setting foot in the Bois de Boulogne—so thanks for this.

  6. Well, I commented right after Shell and now it is not here...?

I think your collection of photos in Bois de Boulogne are just stunning! So glad that you found one tucked away in B/W -- As much as I love the colors of your Bois-boats, the details in the B/W display so well the texture, the shadows, and reflections.

Like Keith, I am drawn to the chain, but probably not for the same reason - ha!

  7. Avez-vous fait un petit tour dans une des barques au Bois de Boulogne?
Je trouve votre calendrier pour 2011 très parisien ! Je pense qu'il va donner envie à d'autres personnes de venir à Paris à toutes les saisons !
