Today's Sunday Paris church series leads us to the 20 arrondissement. Last June, Mary and I found this small but well kept cemetery behind the Église Saint Germain de Charrone. We were disappointed to find the church closed but this pretty little cemetery was a special find.
Oooo Virg...you're so GOTH today!
ReplyDeleteOn second look I'm thinking that it would make a helluva headboard, eh?
ReplyDeleteCall that "Man Shops Globe" dude!
That's amazing—my first thought was also "headboard." I really love this photo, V. It's just beautiful—and perfectly composed.
ReplyDeleteWow, that would make a sensational bedhead. I'll content myself with looking at your timeless and poetic photo instead, V.
ReplyDeleteTucked away behind the more substantial cross, it almost looks cast off blending with the brambles. Very effective shot, Virginia.
ReplyDeleteVirginia, vous faites vraiment de belles photos! Vous êtes une professionnelle! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteSuperb
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Love the sepia tones.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed and enthralled by all your wonderful fotos..........jut beautiful!

Nicely done Ms V!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's exquisite even though it's a bit broken. The sepia toning enhances it too.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you. I thought headboard too but then the cross overhead might not be the thing! Harriet asked where the leaves were on that vine. Since it was June and there were none, I'm assuming the vine had died.

I'm with MadaboutParis, that was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful find Virginia. I love wrought iron work like this, and it is lovely in sepia. You clearly had a wonderful all around trip in June, with good company and rich discoveries... and I'm thinking you are probably already planning your next trip ?
ReplyDeleteOh my dear Owen,
ReplyDeleteOf course I'm planning and scheming but I don't know when I will get back. You are right, I had a wonderful trip. It just wasn't long enough! When I return, I hope we can find time to see Paris together.
