Today another church in Paris that I had not visited previously. As Marie, Genie and I walked back to our Métro from lunch in the 17eme, we passed this church, and I asked if we could stop in for just a few minutes. I'm always surprised and delighted at every church I've visited in Paris and in the countryside. They are all special in their own way.
They definitely are special in their own way; and that's what makes them so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJe suis née à Paris mais je crois que, grâce à vous, je vais découvrir des endroits !
ReplyDeleteMoi aussi, j'aime visiter les églises!
Fire,
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Each is special in a different way.
Claudine,
Peut-être! :)
You've captured the serenity that's found in Parisian churches (though you might have to climb up to the belltower like Quasimodo to find it in Notre Dame). This shot works for Shadow Shot Sunday too. :~}
ReplyDeleteLove the shadows. What was the source of the light?
ReplyDeleteThe shadows make this a very interesting photo. I love the face of the angel too.
ReplyDeleteAre there churches that are not beautiful?
ReplyDeleteI like to go in every church that I see in Paris but I've never seen this one. I like the shadows and the reflection on the wall.
ReplyDeleteYou will be able to see plenty of pictures from my next trip.
My goal is make 80 to 90% of the posts on my Something Sighted blog about Paris starting this November and hopefully lasting at least a year.
Because I'm either in Paris or thinking about going to Paris. :)
James,
ReplyDeleteWe will wait for your wonderful Paris photos and enjoy your visit with you.
Starman,
Now that i think about it, I'm not sure where the light came from. I had no flash so maybe a window? I loved , loved the shadows.

ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more. I haven't wandered into one I haven't found interesting yet. :-)
