I wish I knew where I took this last January. I believe I just stuck my camera up against a window. It's typical of most apartment entrances, but maybe larger than most, but every bit as charming.
Alexa, Why I haven't fallen down some of those Parisian stairs by now, I'll never know. THe ones to our flat last January were so worn and lopsided, but lovely of course. V
WOW!!! Love this shot!!! The effect is very antique!!!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely looks European, Virginia! Isn't it funnuy how we can tell....
ReplyDeleteGinnie,
ReplyDeleteThe uneven stairs for starters! :)
Chieftess,
I worked on it! :)
Nice capture, V. This escalier is definitely listing a bit to starboard—but that just adds to its charm.

That escalier could use a bit of tender, loving care before someone gets killed.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! It looks like something out of an old movie!
ReplyDeleteExactly as I remember the French apartment staircases ...
ReplyDeleteNeeds a bit of repair, but I agree, 'tis charming! And so Parisian!
ReplyDeleteI love that curve!
ReplyDeleteAuthentic, Virginia. Hope owners won't renovate it, it is telling us its story.....
ReplyDeleteGood choice for a post.
Wow, I'm in love with this photo!
ReplyDeleteScrumptious! I'd be happy to walk up them every day.
