I have been away to Tennessee and now am catching up. I liked the color picture at Le Père Lachaise cimetière and really like the kitchen window in the apartment. It is a good idea to take pictures like that. We lived for years in our apartment in Paris, then kept it for more years and I only took one picture from the window. I found it last week – a slide. Now when I am in Paris next I wonder if I can go to the apartment, knock on the door and ask if I can take a picture? I guess it depends who lives there – people are not that open in Paris. I like your waiter – he does look friendly.
V - He looks like a friendly French stranger! I am sure he invited you back...
ReplyDeleteHe looks kind and sweet! I'm glad you were in his care, V.
ReplyDeleteSo French, Virginia. So very French. :)
ReplyDeleteI bet he did ... you naughty gal you ... I think all good waiters are charmers
ReplyDeleteIn spite of their reputation for being arrogant, I've always found French waiters to be friendly and helpful.

ReplyDeleteHis face shape looks like my husband's and the males in his family. I wonder if he is originally from Les Vogues.
ReplyDeleteI think pretty much all French waiters are awesome. It's their profession—not just something they're doing until they get a bit part on Gossip Girls!
