This week it snowed again in Paris and also right here in Birmingham, so I thought I'd show snow photos on both blogs today. Today the lovely Hôtel de Sully. You can enter the courtyard from a doorway at the Place des Vosges. Built around 1630 it has undergone many renovations and in 2000 became the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
Glorious. And great idea to post snow on both. this has to be one of my favourite squares in Paris. So beautiful under snow.

Place des Vosges and Hôtel Sully have very interesting histories and well worth the visit. Victor Hugo once lived in an apartment in Place des Vosges.

ReplyDeleteThe main entrance to Hôtel de Sully is at 62, rue Saint-Antoine. Our last apartment was just across the street.
