Peter, now that's another little job for you to sniff out the situation with the colonnes de Buren! You know they've been under wraps each time I've come. And weather permitting, the PR might be the perfect spot for bubbly!! :)
And mine! Though I've always been a Left Bank gal, my first choice for a Parisian pied-a-terre would have to be one of the apartments overlooking this beautiful garden (Colette's, perhaps? I wish!). Thanks for this one, Virginia --
Oh now Louis, what's not to like? I can hardly wait to get my camera on them when they're all spiffed up. Louis, do you think I'm getting more français as time goes on? Well Lord have mercy, won't that be something! I can't think of anything I'd like more, although I fear I'll never make it. V
I agree Virginia and I realize that I still haven't posted any picture of Le Palais Royal on my blog.
ReplyDelete... and from your next return to Paris I guess we will see a lot more! Will the "colonnes de Buren" be visible not only through the coloured windows?
ReplyDeleteAnd I can see why, Virginia. My, my.
ReplyDeleteIt's a royal night borning too.
