Église Saint Sulpice may sound familiar. It played a major role in The Da Vinci Code. It is currently undergoing major exterior refurbishing. It's a beautiful church to visit. Thanks to my friend Mary Gilbert who made sure I got inside to see it.

How gorgeous! Especially that top photo. The bottom one is very effective. One can't help but imagine the owner of those bags out of view.

ReplyDeleteI apologize for the coming and going of this post this morning. Are Blogger gremlins snatching it off? Beats me!

We've visited a small apartment for my daughter rue Saint Sulpice, just on the side of the church, but it was so tiny that it was impossible. What a pity, the address was great!
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely ..
ReplyDeleteSaint Sulpice has been ongoing repair/maintenance for quite some time now.
ReplyDeleteThe churches of Paris are all so fabulous! This is one we missed, so thanks for showing it. Gorgeous...we'll have to make a special effort to get there the next time around.
ReplyDeleteMy favs here are the first and last picture. They have so much feeling to them!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that last photo...maybe there is a way for me to live in Paris after all!!
