  1. Amazing isn't it, how a caption can raise an image to an even higher plane. The red coat is stunning.

  3. more gems. Love the second pic, and though the person in the first one has her/his back to us, indifference is clearly the emotion. Thanks for your nice comments on my blog, V.

  4. Schindler's list, don't look now, little red riding hood. Red is always a powerful statement. Indifference bought the tear to my cynical eye. All great but that shot with the title is photo journalism, the human condition, modern living... you get the pictiure. Gold star today for the sheer tour de force of such a powerful image.

The last shot looks like my dining table- full of Gary's brushes in coffee jars.

  5. B,
INDIFFERENCE, was a photo I had ignored until yesterday when i was scrolling through and had a second look. Maybe that says something for all of us. Don't be so quick to delete. Let your photos linger a while and maybe you'll see something at first pass you missed . Just a thought.

  6. The artist brushes spoke to me the minute I passed them. FOR GARY should have been my title. Sorry I didn't think of it.
