Often called the necropolis of French royalty, it houses the remains of all but three of the monarchs of France from the 10th Century until 1789. Of special interest, the cadaver tombs , two of which are shown above.

Ah such an interesting place and quite appropriately called 'Necropolis' :) I will surely visit this place if Iget to Paris again :)
