The Musée d'Orsay, the former Gare d'Orsay has fortunately kept the open feel of its former life as a railway station , and its fabulous clocks! With an extensive collection of Impressionist paintings this museum should be at the top of your list. It's smaller than la Louvre, and I've always found it to be very easy to navigate and enjoy! Don't forget to have lunch here.

Very artistic, the first one! I can see you've captured the minute details very nicely! These are lovely shots!
It show's time but I'll call it a timeless beauty :-)

Les orloges de ce musée sont effectivement magnifiques. Merci pour ces belles photos Virginia.
Laurent,
Merci for the spelling correction!
K,
Merci as well!
Great photos, Virginia. I have similar ones from my trip, too. I loved this place and plan to go back again.. but your link to the restaurant isn't working for me. I think I ate at the cheapie cafe.. Next visit I go first class. LOL
Day after tomorrow, I'm gone.. Paris is calling.
K,
Hopefully I've fixed the link now. Thanks for the heads up. Yes, eat there, It's a real treat. Have a bon voyage and take lots of photos. I'm vert with envy of course!!!
Paris is calling me too but I've got to make some Euros before I can answer the call! HA

My favorite museum in the world.
Virginia, me, too. When I get back I need to start accumulating more euros so I can go back. One of these times we should coordinate and go at the same time. Would be fun.
With the planning I can see in the comments, we can plan for a nice party with all these ladies at the same time! Champagne!
This clock is spectacular!
Very artistic shot! I wish to see more of Paris. I will be checking back to see more of your fabulous shots. More power to you and to your site!
