Poulet rôti

This is Parisian takeaway. Oh my goodness. Nothing better. You can't see the little, perfectly peeled potatoes at the bottom that get the benefit of all those tasty juices. Poulet rôti et pommes de terre are definitely in my future. Bon app!

Fondation Louis Vuitton

Frank Gehry's building was wrapped in  Daniel Buren's colorful checkerboards in 2016. Peter and I were fortunate to find an outstanding exhibit this day. After we explored the outside areas with the commanding views of the Paris skyline and the Bois de Boulogne.

Ciné 13 Théâtre

Located in Montmartre, the former Théätre du Tetre was rebuilt and renovated int the 1920's. Well known for its comfy leather club chairs, since 2000, they have made way for comfortable red sofas. Maybe one day we will take in a performance here.

La croix

My good friend Owen Phillips (Instagram: owenphil333) , who lives in Chantilly FR, is an exceptional cemetery photographer. We often meet up when we visit Paris. I've learned to appreciate the details, such as this mausoleum door from him.

A Special Find in Butte aux Cailles

Where else can you have a lovely cup of thé or a delicious déjuener AND buy yarn and knitting supplies at the same time? Why L'oisive Thé in Butte aux Cailles, of course. This charming shop was a true delight. It's easy to find right on rue de la Butte aux Cailles.

Mary have this neighborhood on our list for our upcoming trip. Hope to stop in for more photos and thé!

Michel Cluizel, j'adore!

One of our favorite flats has been just steps from Michel Cluizel's Saint-Honoré shop. Can you believe I never bought even one bite? I'm taking care of that this trip!

Morning in Butte aux Cailles

Often overlooked, Butte aux Cailles , located in the SE part of Paris in the 13th, is a charming neighborhood to wander up and down their cobblestone streets.

Where, you ask? Cité de l'architecture et du Patrimoine. This museum is one of the best kept secrets in Paris. I love it.

City Daily Photo Theme Day - CHANGE

I love that whenever I return to Paris, I can count on its cobblestoned streets and charming buildings and cafés, being just like I left them. On the other hand, the city of Paris took a bold and necessary step a few years ago when they began removing the once romantic, turned horrific nuisance LOVE LOCKS from the Paris bridges. The sheer weight was causing structural damage not to mention the thousands of locks blocked the view of the Seine. The Pont des Arts was relieved of over 700,000 locks weighing over 93 metric tons! In order to prevent new locks, thick acrylic panels were installed. I share before and after shots. Change is good.

Today I join City Daily Photobloggers around the world as we all post our take on this month's theme. Have a look HERE.
