Deux amies
Taken near our flat in 2009, I found these two deeply engrossed in what looks like a cellphone. Not an iPhone, but after enlarging the image, it does appear to be a phone. Surprising I think as in 2009, I don't remember seeing many Parisians with phones, but maybe these are future techies! I loved this for other reasons.

Sunday Church Series - Église Saint-Augusti
I spotted this church, with a red steeple, from the bus on the way into Paris from the airport. Mary, Peter and I visited later that day! A lovely church, not often mentioned in guide books, but worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Paris Rouge - Football!
Place Stravinsky, around the Stravinsky Fountain is just another playground for Parisian kids it seems. After school, you can find a crowd playing football (aka soccer)!

Le Marais
One of the my favorite neighborhoods to wander. Pitzman Kosher is very well loved and known in the Marais. I was fascinated watching him at work.

BHV Marais Homme
Living walls are nothing new in Paris. I shot this one at BHV Homme. These living walls fascinate me. I"ve photographed the one near Musée Quai Branley in January with ice dripping, but the thrive !

Paris Rouge - Le ballon à air chaud
Louis Vuitton's store on the Champs Elysées always has windows to delight. This day I captured the reflections across the Champs as well. Of course I'm joining Jame's Weekend Reflections! I hope you will click the link and visit many other reflection blogs!

Through the Gates
These beautiful gates at l'Université René Descartes were locked tight. Also known as Paris V, it is the French public research university. I'd like to try another time, to get inside and have a look.

Les meringues
Aux Merveilleux de Fred, heavenly meringues and brioche is a most charming shop. This night, just two nights after the terrorists attacks in Paris, Parisians were lined up out the door to purchase these delights. I had hoped to get inside for more photos, but had to be satisfied with pressing my lens against the windows.

Shhhhhhhhhh!
Chats dorment, but don't worry, there are always plenty who are awake and awaiting a lap or some petting.

Chez Gainsbourg
Serge Gainsbourg's home in the 7the arrondissement, is colorful and the tribute gets more creative with the years. Located on rue de Verneuil, I hadn't seen it since my trip in 2008 and really stumbled upon it in 2013 when wandering the streets near my apartment.

City Daily Photo Theme Day - City Skyline
Today I join my City Daily Photo fellow bloggers from around the world as we gather together with one theme.... Our City Skyline. 12 trips to Paris and this is still one of my favorites, taken from the top of the Galeries Lafayette at sunset. Life doesn't get much better than this.
Have a look at the CDP Theme Page and see all the other fabulous skylines around the world right HERE
