Vintage Pétanque

This well worn set of pétanque balls in its case was very tempting.  Being a carryon only girl, they were sadly out of the question. Je regrette.

Les fourmis

The top of the Centre Pompidou offers a great view of Paris from above. Whether or not you choose to take in an exhibit there, be sure to zip to the top via the very cool outside escalator and have a look from above.

Wisteria

As always, I thank Peter for taking me to an area of Paris I might never have found. Butte- aux -Cailles offers a charming look at an area of Paris many have not visited. I loved the townhouse flats. Butte aux Cailles is now one of my favorite photo haunts!

At night, all the café chairs in Paris, stack themselves, one upon another and wait patiently until the sun comes up.

La Croix

Forgive me if I repeat myself,  but I really think Novembre might just be the best time to visit Paris. The vines, which we call Virginia Creeper here in the south, had turned such glorious colors that we found ourselves swooning over every courtyard. Could you blame us?
