Cinq Poêles

E. Dehillerin, depuis 1820, has everything a cook/chef  could want.  If they don't have it, you probably don't need it! This amazing shop,  filled to the ceiling with cooking utensils and an extensive inventory of copper cookware is a store that everyone needs to experience at least once.

I love to cruise through cooking supply stores in the US and in France....shows me how much I don't need, because as far as possible, I improvise. And, forgive the teacher in me, it's "poêle", with the circumflex on the 'e'. :)

I knew where you took this great shot even before I scrolled down, V! The handles are so long—I wonder if these are designed for cooking over a fire.

Julia always shopped there and I could never find it. Probably a good thing -- I could get into terrible trouble there!
